BECOME A BOOSTER CLUB MEMBER!

OUR MISSION IS TO SUPPORT OUR PLAYERS AND COACHES BY ORGANIZING VOLUNTEERS, FUNDRAISING, AND PROMOTING A HIGH STANDARD OF INTEGRITY AND GOOD SPORTSMANSHIP IN ALL ATHLETIC AND COMMUNITY SERVICE ACTIVITIES.

  • Annual membership dues are only $15 per adult.

  • As a member, you can run for open Board positions and vote on important Booster Club matters

  • Your contribution supports the teams by helping fund equipment upgrades, facility repairs/improvements, uniforms, and more.

  • Parent and family involvement is welcomed and sincerely appreciated!  Your support,  whether it be financial, or volunteering your time and talents shows your commitment to supporting YOUR Akins Eagles!

  • Everyone giving a little can help a lot!

Did you know the annual baseball budget provided by AISD is only about $1,900?

Did you know almost all of that goes towards the purchase of game and practice balls for the season?

Doing the math, it is not hard to see why we desperately need your support to keep the baseball program running.

Here are some ways you can volunteer your time and talents and make a real difference:
  • Find sponsors
  • Be a sponsor
  • Take pictures at games and other activities for the Booster Club website and end-of-season slideshow
  • Participate in field work days
  • Help with field maintenance, such as watering and seeding the field, ant eradication, fence repair, retying windscreen, painting, and similar items
  • Pick up and empty trash
  • Volunteer in the concession stand
  • Donate to the concession stand
  • Set up spirit nights at restaurants
  • Sell spirit items
  • Be a Sponsorship Coordinator
  • Be a Spirit Item Coordinator

  • Participate in our fundraisers, like Blue & Gold Night, Opening Day, and the annual golf tournament
  • Seek out donations for our fundraisers
  • Host a Booster Club meeting
  • Help maintain the website
  • Provide game day drinks or snacks
  • Help the Booster Club give back to the community by participating in planned activities, such as delivering gifts for Blue Santa, or donating to a food pantry
  • Make a monetary donation
  • Be a Parent Representative for your student's team
  • Help coordinate Senior Night
  • Help coordinate the end-of-season banquet
  • Announce the Varsity home games

The membership is good for the 2021 - 2022 school year.

TOGETHER we can make the baseball program at Akins High School the best it can be!
